An established multi-doctor veterinary practice in Randolph is looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician to its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care while working in a collaborative and supportive hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
  • Collect blood and laboratory samples for in-house and reference testing
  • Place IV catheters and administer medications as directed
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs, including dental imaging
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
  • Support clients with education, discharge instructions, and patient updates
  • Help maintain efficient daily workflow throughout the hospital

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary nursing role preferred
  • Comfortable with venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and patient restraint
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional and compassionate communication style
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
  • Team-focused attitude with a passion for patient care
  • Availability for rotating weekend shifts preferred
