Compensation: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience and certifications)Â
The RoleÂ
This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment. You’ll take ownership of our accounting operations—managing day-to-day activities, improving processes, and providing insights that drive decision-making. You’ll report directly to the CEO and have the unique opportunity to build an accounting function from the ground up.Â
What You’ll DoÂ
- Manage AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activitiesÂ
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reportsÂ
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policiesÂ
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning with leadershipÂ
- Establish scalable accounting processes and systemsÂ
- Collaborate across teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparencyÂ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldÂ
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experienceÂ
- CPA or other relevant certifications strongly preferred, but not requiredÂ
- Experience in the MSP industry or a similar services-based business strongly preferredÂ
- Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)Â
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsÂ
- Hands-on, proactive approach—you’re not afraid to dig into detailsÂ
