Job DetailsJob Location: Center at Eden Hill - DOVER, DE 19904Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob Summary: The Center at Eden Hill is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Assistant to join our team. The primary goal of this role is to enhance the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing a diverse range of social, physical, emotional, and spiritual activities. The Activities Assistant will work to ensure that every resident, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities, has the opportunity to engage in meaningful experiences that promote wellness and joy. Key Responsibilities: Implement the monthly activities calendar, leading group sessions such as crafts, music, games, and exercise classes. Provide one-on-one bedside visits and sensory stimulation for residents who are unable to attend group functions. Assist the Activities Director in planning and coordinating special events, holidays, and outings. Encourage resident participation and motivate those who may be socially isolated. Accurately document resident attendance and engagement levels in compliance with facility and state regulations. Coordinate with other clinical staff to ensure activities are safe and tailored to the residents' care plans. Maintain and organize activity supplies and equipment.   Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with the geriatric population or in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and positive demeanor. Ability to be creative and adaptable to the changing needs of residents. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a group. Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
