Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Dover, OH 44622Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: SalaryAllied Machine & Engineering Corp.   JOB DESCRIPTION     POSITION:   Enterprise Data Administrator   LEVEL OF AUTHORITY:  Associate   THIS POSITION REPORTS TO:  Special Projects Manager   JOB TITLES REPORTING TO THIS POSITION:  None     ROLE:  To administer and protect the integrity of all product-related data contained in the ERP database, including peripheral files linked to the database.  Required to understand the capabilities and limitations of the ERP system, and provide guidance for successful application of ERP assets toward corporate goals and initiatives.   RESPONSIBILITIES:  Oversee all methods of creation and maintenance to all product-related records. Must work closely with Accounting, ME, AE, and other departments if needed, to facilitate the most practical and efficient use of all of AMEC’s data systems. Analyze and validate all information submitted for entry into product-related files.  Develop and maintain a system of documentation which provides substantiating data for process changes and related decisions. Complete timely and accurate updates to product-related data, based on validated information. Generate and preserve accurate cost valuations of all product-related records. Execute periodic re-evaluation of all product and production related costs, obtain approval of results, perform cost roll-ups, and implement revised costs. Review completed manufacturing orders to monitor for accuracy and significant variances. Create and maintain documented work instructions and standard operating procedures for all tasks and responsibilities to ensure continuity of knowledge. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:  Education High school diploma – Required Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or similar field of study - Preferred Experience Experience in manufacturing environment – Preferred Experience or understanding of ERP software – Preferred   Skills Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes as they relate to cost accounting. Analytical, methodical and meticulous. Extreme attention to detail and quality. Must be computer literate in basic office software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must be organized and able to function in fast paced work environment. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must work well independently as well as in a team environment.
