Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors? Engage Senior Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, delivering compassionate care at Assisted Living Facilities on the Seacoast (Dover, Durham, Rye NH).  This is your chance to empower the geriatric and senior population to regain strength, mobility, and independence while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Evaluate patients to assess strength, balance, mobility, and functional impairments.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall function.
  • Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations, providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance programs.
  • Promote safety and fall prevention by identifying risks and implementing preventive measures.
  • Provide care with a high level of independence in assisted living communities, while always supported by the broader Engage team for guidance and resources.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining functional independence.
  • Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.
  • One-on-one personalized patient care.
  • Develop bonds not just with patients, but with their families, doctors, and fellow team members, ensuring collaborative care and successful outcomes.

About You

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Active or pending state license to practice PT.
  • Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care.
  • An interest in working with the senior population and helping them regain independence.
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
