Position Summary
The Warehouse Inventory Associate provides excellent internal customer service, moves and monitors items received, needed for processing, ready for stock/shipment, and those which have been issued and transferred among multiple locations or departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Moves materials between areas, maintains organization of raw stock and WIP
- Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database when items are moved
- Plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, during and after the launch of a new business system (Oracle Netsuite), and barcode scanning system (WMS)
- Enters data for quantities of parts issued and transferred from warehouse, inventory, and cycle count adjustments into computer database
- Receiving and issuing finished goods into a computer database
- Troubleshooting quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel
- Schedules and performs the movement of products throughout the warehouse including picking for departments, putaway, storage, and shipment of finished products
- Preparing reports for performed cycle counts, shortages, and pick-lists
- Preparing for and participating in yearly physical inventory
- Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying storage space assignments
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma with focus on business/computer curriculum
- Minimum of one year Inventory Control experience
- Must be computer literate, experience using ERP, WMS preferred (Oracle Netsuite a Plus)
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
- Must be an excellent communicator across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple internal customers, multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are met, providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
- Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
- Ability to operate a forklift is required.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
