Concrete Carpenters

Location: Dover
Pay Rate: $36.09/hour
Project Duration: 6+ Months
Schedule: 45 Hours per Week

We are currently hiring experienced Concrete Carpenters for a long-term construction project in Dover, DE. This position will support a large-scale project located on an Air Force base and will focus heavily on structural and site concrete work. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

Scope of Work:

Concrete Carpenters on this project will be responsible for forming, building, and assisting with a variety of concrete structures including:

• Concrete foundations
• Slab-on-grade construction
• Concrete walls and columns
• Structural concrete roof slabs
• Concrete loading docks
• Site paving concrete

Responsibilities:

• Build, set, and strip concrete forms
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Measure, cut, and assemble forming materials
• Install embeds, anchor bolts, and layout components accurately
• Assist with concrete pours and finishing operations as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with crews and supervisors to meet production schedules

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Concrete Carpenter on commercial or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems and layout
• Ability to work outdoors in varying jobsite conditions
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Because this project is located on a federal Air Force base, all candidates must be able to:

• Pass a drug screen
• Pass a federal-level background check
• Comply with all site security and safety requirements
