Registered Nurse

PIH Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Nurse Practitioner to join our Employee Health Team at PIH Health on a part-time basis. The Employee Health Nurse Practitioner will focus on the health and well-being of employees at PIH Health. Supporting Human Resources, you will actively partner with our employees in their own health and wellness efforts, which results in a healthier workforce, and provides us with direct means to address the escalation of healthcare costs. Primary responsibilities include health screenings for new hires, conduct fitness for duty assessments and provide primary care interventions as needed under the direction of the Medical Director, staff Physicians, or clinical leaders. Will perform focused physical examinations, diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries, provide immunizations and manage or assist in managing the flu vaccination program at PIH Health hospitals.  This position may float between PIH Health Hospitals as needed for coverage

Required Experience

• Current California N.P. certification
• Master’s degree in nursing with completion of approved nurse practitioner program.
• Three (3) years related healthcare experience.
• Evidence of continuing education and self-development
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PIHGSH Only)
