Description:
Responsibilities
This role encompasses the following tasks but not limited to:
Research and cooperate on development of the state-of-the-art low power techniques
Do micro-architecture and RTL coding of low power techniques
Analyze SoC and IP architecture to come up with power reduction techniques
Analyze power estimation and power reports (e.g. Power Artist, PtPx) to identify problematic areas
Analyze the full spectrum of SoC from architecture to RTL and physical design to propose power reduction ideas
Collaborate with different teams to analyze/model power of the SoC components
Qualifications/Requirements
RTL design and local test bench development
Capable of understanding PtPx reports and power components
Excellent analytical skills and drive to complete projects
Team player and effective communicator to work with teams in different time zones
MS in computer or electrical engineering
3+ years of experience directly related to power topics
Familiar with low power techniques such as AVS, droop detection, voltage margin technology
Familiar with SoC architecture and its building blocks such as multi-media, camera, GPU, CPU, DDR
Synthesis of RTL design
Excellent technical writing skills
