The Goddard School® located in Doylestown on Farm Lane is seeking motivated and caring Resource Teachers for both part-time and full-time positions. Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
  • Support each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
  • Build positive and effective relationships with families
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and faculty across all age groups, from Infants through Kindergarten
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines
  • Support routine childcare tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment

Available Shifts
Monday – Friday, hours of operation 7:00am – 6:00pm
Current available shifts:
  • 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • 1:00pm – 6:00pm
  • 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Qualifications
  • Shows empathy and compassion for young children
  • Dependable, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team toward a common goal
  • Must be willing to work in all age groups from Infants through Kindergarten
  • Previous experience working with young children preferred but not required
  • High school diploma required; college enrollment or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children, including properly lifting infants into and out of a crib
