Valencia at Draper is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help keep our community clean, comfortable, and welcoming. In this role you'll care for resident apartments and common areas alike, creating the kind of bright, well-kept environment where our residents feel truly at home. It's a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and has a genuine warmth for working around older adults.

What You'll Do

  • Perform all housekeeping duties in resident apartments - vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, high dusting, removing trash, and changing bed linens.
  • Clean restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and community common areas.
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials properly and observe all safety and security procedures.
  • Report any observed problems or deficiencies in resident services to the Executive Director.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to follow one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with little variation.
  • Genuine skill and comfort working with elderly residents.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Regularly required to stand; occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
