Purpose of the Position
Â
Oversee and coordinate demolition activities on assigned job sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise and direct demolition teams, monitor progress, and ensure proper handling and disposal of materials.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Â
- Plan and organize daily demolition tasks, delegating responsibilities to crew members and ensuring all work is completed within project timelines.
- Supervise and provide guidance to demo operators and laborers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and established demolition techniques.
- Conduct site inspections to assess hazards, ensuring proper safety protocols, barriers, and signage are in place.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition and used according to safety guidelines.
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager on job progress, site conditions, and any challenges or adjustments needed in the project plan.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of work areas, including placement of temporary barriers, scaffolding, and safety zones.
- Ensure hazardous materials are handled and disposed of properly, following regulatory and company protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, including task completion, safety inspections, and any incidents that occur on-site.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing mentorship and support to crew members.
- Ensure all crew members adhere to company policies, procedures, and project-specific guidelines.

Physical activities: Must be on feet for up to 10 hours per day; regular standing, sitting, kneeling, twisting, bending; must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and over 50 pounds occasionally; must be able to work in extreme hot/cold, wet/dry environment; must be able to perform repetitive motions such as scraping, sanding, shoveling
