What does a Warehouse Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?Â
Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. Supervises warehouse personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control
- Communication with peers, managers, and other departments
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable
- Secure company assets
- Maintain compliance of safety procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or GED) required and Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 2+ years warehouse/inventory experience required and
- 2+ years supervising warehouse/inventory staff required and
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office programs and SAP
- Attention to detail
- Team oriented, Able to lead employees and handle conflict
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack required
- Ability lift product (up to 50lb) frequently and repetitively required
