What You’ll DoÂ
You’ll serve as an expert in simulation-based education, creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for real-world clinical practice.Â
In this role, you will:Â
- Facilitate dynamic simulation experiences using Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™Â
- Lead prebriefing and debriefing sessions that promote reflection, critical thinking, and clinical reasoningÂ
- Partner with faculty and simulation leaders to design and enhance curriculum-based scenariosÂ
- Mentor and support students in developing clinical judgment and identifying growth opportunitiesÂ
- Deliver thoughtful, constructive feedback that builds confidence and competenceÂ
- Collaborate with simulation operations staff to ensure seamless, high-quality learning environmentsÂ
- Integrate advanced technologies such as high-fidelity simulators, virtual reality, and electronic charting systemsÂ
- Support interprofessional education and innovative teaching strategiesÂ
- Contribute to simulation center goals, accreditation efforts, and continuous improvement initiativesÂ

Requirements
What You BringÂ
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (required)Â
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah (required)Â
- CHSE certification (or willingness to obtain within 36 months)Â
- 2+ years of simulation education or management experience (preferred)Â
- Strong knowledge of simulation pedagogy, debriefing techniques, and adult learning principlesÂ
- Ob and/or Peds experience is a plusÂ
What to ExpectÂ
- Schedule: Part-Time (Less than 30 hours per week), Monday–Friday (with occasional evenings or Saturdays)Â
- Location: Draper, Utah campusÂ
- Environment: Hands-on simulation labs with advanced clinical technologyÂ
