Legacy Dermatology Group is a well-established and highly respected dermatology practice seeking a part-time Mohs Histotechnologist to join our dedicated and collaborative team. Our practice is known for exceptional patient care and a supportive, collegial environment where every team member is valued.
Position Overview:
The Mohs Histotech will work closely with our Mohs surgeons and clinical team to prepare high-quality frozen sections for same-day diagnosis. This role is essential in ensuring accurate, timely results that directly impact patient care.
Offices in Milford and Cass Lake.Â
Mondays and Tuesdays.
Key Responsibilities:
  •   Prepare, cut, stain, and cover-slip frozen tissue sections for Mohs micrographic surgery
  •   Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper quality control procedures are followed
  •   Collaborate closely with the surgeon and team to ensure efficient surgical workflow
  •   Uphold all safety, compliance, and laboratory best practices
Qualifications:
  •   Experience as a Mohs histotechnologist strongly preferred
  •   Familiarity with cryostats, staining techniques, and laboratory safety procedures
  •   Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills
  •   Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
