The primary role of First Report Unit Supervisor is to lead a team of claims representatives who gather the facts of new auto accidents and empathetically deliver perfect customer service. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of developing people and achieving excellent results in the insurance industry.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of 5-7 claims representatives
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Responsibilities for hiring, onboarding, training and performance management
  • Accurately forecasting workload and coordinating schedules to meet our customers’ needs
  • Using data analytics to evaluate processes and improve performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results
  • Regular responsibilities for compliance auditing and delivering feedback
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university strongly preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of insurance experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc).
  • Working knowledge of ClaimsPro, FNOL, Verint, Avaya, CMS, and Image Right.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
