Summary/Objective
Ensure that the preparation of all food items is to standard during the shift while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.
Essential Functions
- Prepare cold and hot items to specification by following recipes and plating standards in order to produce consistent product at all times.
- Cook meats and proteins to temperature.
- Demonstrate strong knife skills and food preparation techniques.
- Set up and service cold and hot line stations to standard.
- Maintain clean and sanitary workspace at all times.
- Clean and sanitize dishes and workspaces.
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items in order to enhance guest experience
- Maintain accurate prep list.
- Watch for safety hazards and report them to supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all property and department policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position operates in a kitchen setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time seasonal position. Employees must have the ability to work weekends, holidays, days, and nights with flexible hours through October 31st. Schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous kitchen experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant fine dining or refined service position preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.
Work Authorization
Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
