A Staff Scientist position is available in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.You will provide essential imaging services that support research studies and clinical trials across all disease teams and clinical departments. You will receive training in all aspects of clinical trial operations, including coordination and documentation. You will be responsible for managing grant submissions, supporting manuscript preparation, and providing imaging鈥憆elated expertise to advance departmental research activities. This position is critical to supporting the department鈥檚 scientific mission and helping faculty achieve institutional goals for research excellence and publication productivity.

As a successful candidate, you will:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage grant application preparation and submission, manuscript development, and publication support.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate radiology research lab tasks and operations, including mentoring and training lab members; providing conceptual, technical, and experimental support; contributing to grant applications and manuscripts; and assembling reports and presentations.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide imaging analysis (e.g., preliminary tumor measurements), data analysis, and overall research project support.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist radiologists with occasional preliminary tumor measurements as needed.



Your qualifications should include:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 The Staff Scientist must possess, at a minimum, the U.S. equivalent Bachelor鈥檚 or Master鈥檚 degree in an appropriate discipline, and will often have a Ph.D. or other doctoral level degree.

  • Strong background in oncology, radiology, or related fields.
  • Experience with imaging technology and imaging analysis

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to design and execute data analysis, interpret results critically, and present data clearly.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent oral and written communication skills.

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
