Job Summary:
Office Assistant assists HR department with day-to-day office duties along with providing customer service to visitors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors/guests, maintain sign in/out system
- Maintain phone lines, directing calls to appropriate departments
- Maintain HR documentation, including training, employee files, etc
- Assist with employee relations, monthly luncheon, and general employee tasks
- Pack Jobs
- Scan completed Job
- Assist with receiving duties (system receiving, verifying dock scans, and handling receiving errors)
- Enter scrap DMTs
- Volvo, Mack, and Spur Line paperwork
- Any other admin duties needed by Plant Management
Job Qualifications (Required)
- At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
- High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Job Qualifications (Preferred):
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous receptionist/office experience
- Customer Service experience
Physical Requirements of the Job:
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
- Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
- Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
- Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
- Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
- Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
M - F
6:00am - 4:00pm
