Job DetailsJob Location: Convalarium Care Center - Dublin, OH 43016Position Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $65,000.00 - $65,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: First ShiftThe primary purpose of your position is to manage the billing and collection of resident accounts, and to direct the business personnel office in completing general administrative tasks, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Functions Input ancillary charges for month end close. Deposit funds and create cash batches as received. Respond timely to request and/or audits from Corporate Operations Team or Administrator.   Monthly aging review and collection calls Knowledge of Point Click Care and ability to comprehend reports. Daily census spreadsheet and updating dashboard by 10:30 am daily. Knowledge of Medicaid and eligibility guidelines and how to process a Medicaid application from start to finish. Proficient in insurances and insurance coverage for Long Term Care Services. Knowledge of UB04 Participate in Monthly Triple Check and weekly Utilization Review meetings Organized and time management skills with prioritizing. Work with billers to solve any issues to get claims paid. Knowledge on authorization for skilled services process Budget and Planning Functions Assist in the establishment and maintenance of an adequate accounting system that reflects the operating cost of the Facility. Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide such information to the Administrator. Ensure that adequate financial records and cost reports are submitted to authorized government agencies as required by current regulations. Resident Rights Honor the resident’s refusal of treatment request.  Report such action to your supervisor. Abide by the resident’s participation in treatment decision. Inform the resident of consequences of not participating in prescribed therapy and document such action in the resident’s clinical record. Report any complaints or grievances to the department supervisor. Report and investigate all allegations of resident abuse and/or misappropriation of resident property. Allow the resident to participate in the planning and scheduling of his or her treatment. Must adhere to all HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business office management, preferably in healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living. Experience in financial management, billing, and accounts payable/receivable is required. Skills: Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills. Proficiency in accounting software, billing systems, and office management tools (e.g., Microsoft Office). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive financial matters discreetly. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance billing processes (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance).
