Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Leads recruiting activities as assigned, works closely with hiring manager to define job requirements, and sources a diverse slate of candidates for consideration.
  • Supports the Talent Acquisition Team in coordinating candidate interview schedules, travel, and communication for all open positions.
  • Leverages the company’s HRIS (Workday) to manage requisitions, candidate screening, selection, and hiring processes. Ensure all documentation is accurately completed including drug-screening process and background investigations where appropriate.
  • Proactively and creatively sources and screens candidates to develop pools of talent for all positions across OCLC.
  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition Team on strategies that support our employer branding efforts.
  • Partners with and supports other HR Talent team members beyond Talent Acquisition as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • 3 plus years of experience in a Human Resources function focused on recruiting, technology recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skill in using LinkedIn and other social networking tools to source candidates.
  • Excellent partnership skills: knows how to effectively work with hiring managers to source, screen, evaluate and hire talented new staff members within organizational policies and budgets.
  • High proficiency in MS Office systems with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Hands-on experience using HR information systems, Workday experience preferred.
  • Track record of handling sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Ability to respond with urgency, focused on meeting and exceeding customer needs with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to prioritize and perform competing tasks.
  • Technically savvy – able to best utilize appropriate systems, reporting tools, and support services.
