Role Overview:Ā 

The Lead Generation Marketer is an integral member of the sales team responsible for driving pipeline growth and increasing sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, market research, and trade show participation. This hybrid role is based locally in Dublin, OH and focuses on developing qualified opportunities within the chemical industry. The successful candidate will conduct high-volume outbound outreach, support marketing and business development initiatives, andĀ maintainĀ a strong pipeline within the CRM system. This position requires a solid understanding of commodity chemicals andĀ NASiĀ products, along with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and prospective customers.Ā

A Sample of WhatĀ You’llĀ Do in This Role:Ā 

  • Increase the number of cold calls made against the sales pipeline and develop relationships that convert into sales opportunitiesĀ 

  • Follow up on literature and sample requests to generate and qualify new business opportunitiesĀ 

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and lead follow-upĀ 

  • Build andĀ maintainĀ knowledge of commodity chemicals and manufacturedĀ NASiĀ products to effectively support prospecting effortsĀ 

  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships across multiple industrial divisions withinĀ NASiĀ 

  • Perform targeted market research toĀ identifyĀ and develop new prospects within chemical industry segments whereĀ NASiĀ products provide valueĀ 

  • Develop andĀ maintainĀ a strong understanding ofĀ NASi’sĀ position within the chemical industry to effectively communicate product value and qualify prospectsĀ 

  • Partner with Business Development to own andĀ maintainĀ the sales pipeline, ensuring itĀ remainsĀ current and supports new customer growthĀ 

  • AssistĀ marketing withĀ identifyingĀ and adding customers to the sales pipelineĀ 

  • IdentifyĀ trade shows and other opportunities to cultivate new prospects and schedule meetings with potential customersĀ 

  • Serve as a key contributor in planning, supporting, and operating trade show booths and related activitiesĀ 

  • Track prospecting activities, lead status, and opportunity progression within the company’s CRM system to ensure consistent advancement of opportunitiesĀ 

  • Support lead generation initiatives through participation in key industry trade shows and eventsĀ 

  • Travel occasionally to support industry events, divisional meetings, and other business-related activitiesĀ

What You Bring to the Role:Ā 

  • 5+Ā years of experience in chemical sales or a related fieldĀ 

  • Demonstrated success in cold calling and prospecting within the chemical industryĀ 

  • Working knowledge of the chemical industryĀ 

  • Experience conducting high-volume outbound prospecting and lead qualification activitiesĀ 

  • Knowledge of commodity chemicals and the ability to learn and communicate the value of manufacturedĀ NASiĀ productsĀ 

  • Experience performing market research andĀ identifyingĀ new business opportunitiesĀ 

  • Ability to manage andĀ maintainĀ sales pipelines and support business development activitiesĀ 

  • Basic experience working within a CRM system to add, track, and manage opportunities for the sales teamĀ 

  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholdersĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related fieldĀ

  • Experience using CRM platforms and digital sales tools to manage pipelines, track prospect activity, and support data-driven decision makingĀ 

  • ComfortĀ leveragingĀ Microsoft 365 tools, collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, and AI-enabled tools such as Copilot to improve productivity, research, and customer outreachĀ 

  • Ability to analyze prospecting and pipeline data,Ā utilizeĀ market intelligence resources, and adoptĀ new technologiesĀ that enhance lead generation and business development effortsĀ

Compensation and Benefits:Ā 

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $84,000 - $112,010. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.Ā 

  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).Ā
