Reports to: VP of Technology 

Location: Hybrid - Dublin, Ohio (3 days) Remote (2 days)

As our Solutions Architect Director you’ll lead the architectural vision and secure the successful implementation of scalable and secure solutions. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction for business development, mentor future leaders, and drive significant decisions that shape client engagements and enhance overall client satisfaction. 

 

Responsibilities:

   

  • Directs and oversees the team responsible for designing and implementing technological solutions that align with internal or external clients' business needs. 
  • Responsible for guiding solution delivery, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
  • Implements architectural principles, standards, and governance to ensure consistency. 
  • Ensures factors such as reliability, scalability, flexibility, and security are considered in the architecture decisions. 
  • Strategic planning and future proofing the IT standards for the company
  • Provide mentorship and professional and technical leadership for direct reports.
  • Help direct reports sharing technical and professional feedback, along with plans for development & professional growth.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, including developing, analyzing, and presenting operating and capital budgets to senior leadership 
  • Leverage AI tools to automate routine tasks, increase optimization and productivity,  as well as utilize consider for future proofing by incorporating it into strategic planning and data driven forecasting
  • Monitor departmental expenditures, analyze variances between actual and budgeted results



Requirements

  •  At least 15 years of experience in engineering and/or solution architecture delivering modern systems to production 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision making and organizational skills
  • Responsibly exhibiting the ability to define and communicate technical strategy to non-technical Stakeholder
  • Excelling in architectural judgment across key areas
  • Promoting consultative approaches in technical delivery
  • Proven experience in hands-on coding and reviews preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical deliveries
  • Experience in scaled agile environments
  • Demonstrating market and industry awareness
