Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning teamat Dublin, OH - Wilcox Road.Ā The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.Ā

Work Schedule:Ā Ā Tuesday - Saturday 11:30pm-8:00am (rotating weekends).
Work Location: Dublin, OH

Job Responsibilities:Ā
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingĀ
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasĀ
Accurately identify and label specimensāÆĀ
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesāÆĀ
Meet department activity and production goalsĀ
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samplesāÆĀ
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerāÆĀ
Resolve and document any problem specimensĀ

RequirementsĀ
High School Diploma or equivalentĀ
No relative experience required; 1-2 years preferredāÆĀ
Previous medical or production experience is a plusĀ
Comfortable handling biological specimensāÆĀ
Ability to accurately identify specimensāÆĀ
Experience working in a team environmentāÆĀ
Strong data entry and organizational skillsĀ
High level of attention to detailĀ
Proficient in MS OfficeāÆĀ
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.Ā Ā
Ability to pass a standardized color blind testĀ
