The Coating Operator is responsible for supporting the final steps of production within a biologicals manufacturing environment focused on humic and fulvic-based products. This hands-on position requires staging production totes within a designated area, following standard operating procedures to prep the totes, ensuring timely product movement, and compliance with company quality and safety standards.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy and industrial machinery, such as a forklift
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accurately and legibly complete production activity sheets, logs, and quality control documentation
  • Undergo cross-training and be willing to support other operations when needed
  • Support material handling, inventory accuracy, and cycle count activities
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel
  • Identify and report safety concerns, process deviations, or equipment issues
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by your manager


Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within chemical, agriculture, biologicals, liquid processing, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift 55+ pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching overhead.
  • Ability to work in dusty, hot, cold, noisy, and industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and work safely in production environments.

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing and production plant environment focused on humic and fulvic biological products.
  • Exposure to dust, raw materials, machinery, and varying plant temperatures.
  • Fast-paced operational environment requiring flexibility and responsiveness.
  • May require overtime, weekend, or evening work based on production and shipping schedules.
