We are currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper / Cook-Server to support our Independent Living Community Center and Apartments. This unique position combines housekeeping responsibilities with café and dietary support duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and helping others. Position Details Full-Time Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Competitive Benefits Package Located in DuBois, PA Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a healthcare or senior living setting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable attendance and positive attitude Essential Responsibilities Housekeeping Duties Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clean resident apartments weekly, including: Changing linens and making beds Vacuuming and dusting Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms Emptying trash receptacles Clean and maintain common areas, offices, restrooms, and public spaces Wash walls, windows, and woodwork as needed Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals according to regulations Maintain sanitary and odor-free conditions throughout the community center Clean and disinfect housekeeping equipment and supplies Report maintenance or repair needs to management Participate in fire drills, in-services, and required compliance training Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Dietary / Cook-Server Duties Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare and serve meals following approved recipes and dietary guidelines in our cafe Check and record food temperatures to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with tray preparation and meal service Prepare snacks and beverages as assigned Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining room, dish room, and food preparation areas Operate dishwasher and maintain sanitation standards Wash and store dishes, cookware, and dietary equipment Properly label and store food items Assist with food deliveries to Independent Living residents Support special functions and events as needed What We Offer Supportive and team-oriented work environment Competitive benefits package Meaningful work serving seniors in our community Opportunity to make a daily difference in residents’ lives Christ the King Manor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.   Qualifications
