Position Overview
Mountainy is looking for dependable, hardworking Receiving & Offloading Warehouse Associates to support our inbound warehouse operations.
This position is primarily responsible for unloading incoming truck shipments, receiving and organizing inventory, moving pallets, and ensuring inbound products are handled safely and accurately.
The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical warehouse work, works well as part of a team, and can safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Key Responsibilities
- Offload incoming trucks, trailers, and palletized shipments.
- Receive inbound inventory and verify products against shipment documentation.
- Safely move pallets and inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Break down, sort, stage, and organize incoming shipments.
- Inspect inbound products for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Count and verify inventory accurately.
- Label, scan, and prepare received inventory for put-away.
- Place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Keep receiving docks, staging areas, and warehouse workspaces clean and organized.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
- Communicate shipment discrepancies or damaged products to warehouse leadership.
- Assist with general warehouse and fulfillment duties when receiving work is complete.
- Work efficiently as part of the Mountainy warehouse team to meet daily receiving goals.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, receiving, unloading, or fulfillment experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required or ability to demonstrate safe forklift operation.
- Experience operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull products throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking.
- Comfortable working around trucks, loading docks, pallets, and warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail when counting and receiving inventory.
- Ability to follow instructions and established warehouse procedures.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to arrive on time and be ready to work at the scheduled start of the shift.
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with a team.
Physical Requirements
This is an active warehouse position. Employees must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, reach, squat, push, and pull.
- Safely lift and move packages and inventory throughout the workday.
- Work with palletized freight and other inbound shipments.
- Perform physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Recommended posting specification: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently, with team lifting or equipment used for heavier items.

- Warehouse receiving
- Truck or trailer unloading
- Forklift operation
- Pallet jack operation
- Inventory management
- RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Pallet breakdown and put-away
