Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality results? We're looking for a reliable, motivated Blaster to join our production team in Dubuque, IA.

As a Blaster, you'll play a vital role in preparing products for coating by operating blast equipment while ensuring every part meets customer specifications and our high standards for quality. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

• Operate media blast machines safely and efficiently.
• Prepare products for coating according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Follow job travelers and production schedules to keep production running smoothly.
• Transport product bins using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ensure products receive proper treatment to prevent rust and coating defects.
• Complete daily production logs and required documentation.
• Conduct routine safety walks and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Work closely with teammates to meet production goals and communicate effectively across shifts.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready.
• Cross-train in other production areas and assist other departments as needed.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 65 lbs, and rarely up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with chemicals and elevated temperatures.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and move throughout an entire shift.

Preferred Skills

• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Great attention to detail.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow directions and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a production/warehouse setting and requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the day. You'll work around industrial equipment, chemicals, and warm conditions while following established safety procedures.
