UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Dubuque, IA.

General

• Established team of Nurse Practitioners with Neonatologist support
• Established program serving the Dubuque community
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy
• PRN position; 24 hour shifts with dedicated sleep suite
• Looking for coverage for 3-9 days per month
• Level 2 NICU
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• 4-bed NICU with Average census of 3-4
• NNP will also round on well-born babies; 2-6 per day
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Specialty skills: LDRP, umbilical lines and circumcisions will be performed
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner trained
• Experience REQUIRED
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
