Duchesne County is seeking a motivated, dependable, and versatile individual to join our team as an Event Center Operations Coordinator. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and event activities at the Duchesne County Centennial Event Center and Fairgrounds.
No two days are the same! One day you may be preparing an arena for a rodeo, and the next you may be setting up for a wedding, livestock show, conference, or community festival.
What You'll Do
- Assist with event setup, operations, and tear-down.
- Maintain arenas, barns, buildings, grounds, and public areas.
- Operate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, water trucks, and forklifts.
- Support rodeos, fairs, livestock shows, weddings, meetings, and special events.
- Provide outstanding customer service to event organizers and the public.
- Help ensure facilities are safe, clean, and event-ready.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Utah Driver License.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with equipment operation, maintenance, agriculture, construction, or event operations is preferred but not required.
Schedule
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on event needs.
