Final Technician

Position:                Assembly Technician    

Work Hours:    40 hour work week – flexible work schedule – overtime starts at 42.5 hours    

Description:             The Assembly Technician will be responsible for:

    Troubleshooting within the Teams with support of Senior Assembly Technicians

    Cross-Training of production employees within in the Teams

Reports To:                Senior Assembly Technicians 

Responsibilities:    Troubleshoots repairs for assembly issues. Determines the steps needed to fix the issue and communicates back to the Team member.

Cross-training, as required, for process improvements, process/product changes, or re-occurring issues. 

Back-up capacity for Teams especially on new product repairs.

Typical Physical Demands:        Must be able to sit and use a microscope for up to 7 hours a day. 

Must have the hand/arm strength to apply twisting or direct force using a wrench, screwdriver, hand, and/or pliers. 

Must be able to work with machine equipment as trained and required.

It is necessary to be able to walk between manufacturing equipment and workbench.
