Job DetailsJob Location: Duffield - Duffield, VA 24244 Responsibilities include Integration Job Packet processing, checking, and preliminary BOM component selection. The Integration Technician works with Integration Designers and other departments to support the needs of production. This position requires both clerical and limited technical skills.     Review Issue for Construction (IFC) drawing packets from customers and generating preliminary Bills of Materials (BOMs) for items such as communications cables and other accessories as needed. Work with Integration Production, Purchasing, and Project Management staff to support customer design changes as needed. Review completed integration drawing packets for clerical errors.  Support creation and updating of production packets as needed. Support data entry and tracking using various business tools (ex. Excel, AirTable, Access DB, etc.) Work with Integration Design and Production teams to create and/or maintain standard documents such as procedures, work instructions, and design references. Assist groups such as engineering, production, quality, and field support personnel to verify customer satisfaction. Develop strong interdepartmental relationships and open communication lines to assure efficient problem resolution. Renders technical assistance to factory personnel, sales staff, field service, and/or customers as needed. Support inventory reduction and cost savings initiatives. Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization as needed. Support customer meetings and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) as needed. Possible travel as needed. Performs other assigned duties as required by management. Qualifications High-School Diploma Basic computer skills with fundamental knowledge of basic electrical components/system.
