Job DetailsJob Location: Duffield - Duffield, VA 24244 Support all departments in Building #2 with distribution of materials to the correct location once delivered to staging areas in building #2. Ensure that all material deliveries are scanned accurately for correct inventory and material control. Work with other department material handlers to keep production moving.   Check material deliveries from the warehouse for accuracy. Delivery material to shelters in building#2 as needed to ensure less clutter in work areas. Practical problem solving in their material delivery areas. Help with material deliveries for contractors working in Building #2. Help fill in when department material handlers are absent. Forklift qualified and proficient. Good communication with area foremen to ensure material is handled and delivered correctly. Ensure safety rules are followed, and a safe work environment is maintained. Ensure housekeeping is completed daily.   Solid knowledge of computer-based skills, Excel, Word, production schedules, etc. Flexible working schedule to help meet production schedules and material deadlines. Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Excellent time management. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Ability to coordinate material deliveries to production staff. Ability to solve problems in a variety of standardized situations. Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment Understanding of the customer’s expectations for the product. Plan work tasks ahead and adapt to unforeseen interruptions. Understanding of our material tracking system. Ability to work in a team environment, motivate and assist team members Qualifications  2-3 years of material handling experience. Valid Driver's License
