Overview

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking professional and dependable Armed Security Guards to support security operations at Redstone Arsenal. This position is responsible for protecting government personnel, facilities, equipment, and assets through armed security services, access control operations, patrol activities, and force protection measures that support mission readiness and installation security. 

 

The ideal candidate is a disciplined and observant security professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding people and property. This role offers the opportunity to support critical government operations while working in a mission-focused environment dedicated to security, professionalism, and operational excellence. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide armed security services in support of government facilities, personnel, and assets. 
  • Conduct roving patrols to identify, deter, and report security threats, suspicious activity, and installation breaches. 
  • Perform access control functions for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles. 
  • Monitor assigned areas and maintain situational awareness to support force protection operations. 
  • Communicate effectively using radios, telephones, and other communication equipment. 
  • Interact professionally with government personnel, contractors, visitors, and members of the public. 
  • Conduct personnel, building, and facility inspections in accordance with established procedures. 
  • Perform package, parcel, and property inspections as required. 
  • Respond to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and other operational events. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with a civilian police force, military police force, civilian security organization, or related security environment. 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and prepare coherent verbal and written reports. 
  • Must successfully meet U.S. Army Physical Agility Test (PAT) standards. 
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government facilities.
  • Prior military, law enforcement, or armed security experience. 
  • Experience conducting patrol operations and access control activities. 
  • Experience responding to emergencies and security incidents. 
  • Experience working in a high-security or force protection environment. 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of physical security, force protection, and access control principles. 
  • Ability to operate communications equipment and standard security systems. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic computer systems. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to observe, assess, and respond to security concerns. 
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. 
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and operational directives. 
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports and documentation. 
  • Ability to interact professionally with government personnel, visitors, and contractors. 
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and mission success.
