Acadian Ambulance Services, Inc., has an immediate opening for a full-time Runner in Houma, LA. The schedule of this position is predicted to be flexible with occasional weekend shifts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Deliver and pick up company vehicles as requested to assist fleet maintenance with the performance of preventative maintenance or repairs.
Pick up and deliver vehicle parts and supplies.
Review equipment on ambulance and complete equipment checklists.
Stock ambulances with equipment, to include stretchers, oxygen bottles and other items which could weigh over 50 lbs.
Wash company vehicles.
Re-fuel company vehicles.
Assist with shop maintenance—this includes, but is not limited to, sweeping, trash disposal, organizing supplies.
Work with supervisors and crew members to coordinate the transference of vehicles to and from the vehicle maintenance shop.
Perform all other duties as requested by supervision.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
Clean driving record
Current driver’s license (Class D)
