 The School of Counseling at Divine Mercy University (DMU) invites applications for an online adjunct faculty position in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.

Requirements


 Applicants must have the following minimal qualifications:

  • A doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution;
  • Be Licensed or License-eligible in the state of residence
  • Possess  clinical, supervision, and teaching skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to counseling professional identity and development
  • Exemplify a commitment to diverse worldviews and faiths while upholding the Catholic Christian vision of the person.

 To be considered, the following is required:

  • Current curriculum vitae.
  • Cover letter of interest that addresses the applicant’s compatibility with teaching and supervising in accord with the DMU mission.  
  • A list of references from three higher education professionals.
  • Official transcripts for all post-secondary education (unofficial transcripts should be submitted through the applicant portal and official transcripts can be requested and sent via email to cmhc@divinemercy.edu )

  • Applicants whose primary language is other than English must provide proficiency in both written and spoken English appropriate for masters-level teaching in the United States of America.
  • Applicants holding degrees earned at an institution outside the United States of America must demonstrate post-secondary education that is equivalent to a U.S. doctoral degree in counseling supervision. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have all official transcripts submitted from each university translated into English.
