Carpenter/Painter

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing all aspects of carpentry work, including finish carpentry, building and repairing furniture, and framing with wood and metal studs.

Key Results and Responsibilities

• Ability to perform window and glass repair

• Ability to work off ladders and scaffolding

• Ability to repair and/or install doors, door hardware, and locks

• Ability to repair and/or install various roofing systems

• Ability to repair and/or install masonry work

• Ability to exercise proper care and cleaning of tools and worksites

• Responsible for following through on assigned work orders

• Must be able to work occasional off-hours to complete projects

• Moving furniture, fixtures, and equipment as necessary

• Duties may involve snow shoveling on occasion

• May be assigned to assist and/or perform painter's duties along with carpentry work

• Other duties as may be assigned and/or necessary

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years as a professional carpenter

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of carpentry work

• Knowledge of painting

• Knowledge of sanding, staining, and refinishing woodwork

• Lifting ability

• Good attendance is necessary
