Job Summary:
Responsible for performing all aspects of carpentry work, including finish carpentry, building and repairing furniture, and framing with wood and metal studs.
Key Results and Responsibilities
Ability to perform window and glass repair
Ability to work off ladders and scaffolding
Ability to repair and/or install doors, door hardware, and locks
Ability to repair and/or install various roofing systems
Ability to repair and/or install masonry work
Ability to exercise proper care and cleaning of tools and worksites
Responsible for following through on assigned work orders
Must be able to work occasional off-hours to complete projects
Moving furniture, fixtures, and equipment as necessary
Duties may involve snow shoveling on occasion
May be assigned to assist and/or perform painter's duties along with carpentry work
Other duties as may be assigned and/or necessary
Required Qualifications
Five or more years as a professional carpenter
Knowledgeable in all aspects of carpentry work
Knowledge of painting
Knowledge of sanding, staining, and refinishing woodwork
Lifting ability
Good attendance is necessary
