Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Duluth, Minnesota that produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. We are looking for experienced Aircraft Interior Installers who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!


The CMM Programmer/Operator is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CMM equipment to ensure manufactured parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards. 


Essential Functions:

  • Operates multiple pieces of metrology equipment including CMMs, vision systems, etc.
  • Programs measurement equipment using inspection software such as PolyWorks, PC-DMIS, etc.
  • Develops, maintains, and generates CMM programs used to inspect and verify production materials and components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment.
  • Ensure all inspection tools and gauges are in proper working condition.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a CMM Programmer/Operator in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in PC-DMIS or similar CMM programming software.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and metrology principles.
  • Experience with manual measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
