Position SummaryÂ
The responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:Â Â
- Work amongst a team of design engineers and technicians within our electrical discipline to process drawing redlines/comments and update drawings within the AutoCAD software to create detailed and accurate electrical designs, plans, schematics, diagrams, layouts, and detailsÂ
- Ensure drawings are created in accordance with client drafting specifications and standardsÂ
- Manage drawings and interface with client document management software Â
- Keep up to date with advancements in drafting software and relevant drafting toolsÂ
- Work effectively in a hybrid work environmentÂ
- Work in collaborative groups and multidisciplinary technician teamsÂ

Minimum QualificationsÂ
- Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field Â
- Demonstrated knowledge in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 (i.e. Excel, Outlook)Â
- Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulationsÂ

 Preferred QualificationsÂ
- 3 years or more of prior relevant experienceÂ
- Experience reading and interpreting designer/engineer redlines and commentsÂ
- Experience with 3D modeling software (i.e. Revit)Â
- Experience using macros in ExcelÂ
- Experience with multi-step command routines/programs (i.e. LISP)Â
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative group and multidisciplinary teamÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to be concise and communicate effectivelyÂ
- Willingness to work overtime if requestedÂ

Salary RangeÂ
- This position’s anticipated rate of pay is $24.00 - $31.25 per hour. (This position is eligible for year-end bonuses and for overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a given workweek.) Offer will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.  Â
