Position Summary
The HR Manager leads core human resources functions across GET Freight, including recruitment,Â
onboarding, employee relations, compliance, compensation administration, HR reporting, and HRÂ
process management.
This role has a strong focus on driver workforce management within a DOT-regulated environment,Â
ensuring compliance, operational alignment, and workforce stability across multiple locations.
In addition, the HR Manager plays a critical role in strengthening the Company’s HR PlanningÂ
capability, supporting workforce planning, headcount forecasting, organizational design, manpowerÂ
budgeting, and HR analytics.
The position works closely with Operations, Safety, Finance, and department leaders to ensure that HRÂ
practices effectively support both day-to-day operations and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1) Human Resources Leadership
• Implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal, state, andÂ
applicable employment regulations.Â
• Provide practical HR guidance and counsel to managers on employee matters, performanceÂ
issues, and policy interpretation.Â
• Promote cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Safety, and otherÂ
departments to ensure aligned people management practices.Â
• Support continuous improvement of HR processes, internal controls, and employee lifecycleÂ
management.
2) Recruitment & Onboarding
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for office and driver positions, including job postings,Â
screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding.Â
• Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and support timely hiringÂ
execution.Â
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation to ensure operational andÂ
compliance readiness.Â
• Monitor recruitment progress, hiring timelines, and onboarding effectiveness.
3) Employee Relations & Compliance
• Conduct employee relations reviews and workplace investigations in accordance with companyÂ
policy and legal requirements.Â
• Administer disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and related documentation consistently andÂ
appropriately.Â
• Maintain strong employee communication channels and support engagement, retention, andÂ
workplace culture initiatives.Â
• Ensure proper maintenance of personnel records and support readiness for internal audits,Â
legal reviews, and compliance inspections.
4) Compensation & Benefits Administration
• Support payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, leave administration, and policy renewals inÂ
partnership with internal and external stakeholders.Â
• Maintain accurate employee data, HRIS records, and employment documentation.Â
• Assist with compensation administration, including job changes, promotions, salaryÂ
adjustments, and related documentation.Â
• Support implementation and communication of HR programs such as performance reviewÂ
cycles, merit increases, and policy updates
5) HR Planning & Workforce Strategy
• Support the development of annual and mid-term workforce plans aligned with businessÂ
growth and operational demand.Â
• Partner with leadership to forecast headcount needs, hiring priorities, and workforce allocationÂ
across locations and functions.Â
• Assist in organizational design, including role definition, reporting structures, and workforceÂ
optimization.Â
• Develop and maintain headcount reports, hiring plans, vacancy tracking, and workforceÂ
dashboards.Â
• Support labor cost planning and personnel budgeting in coordination with Finance andÂ
department leaders.Â
• Analyze workforce data including turnover, retention, hiring trends, and span of control toÂ
identify risks and improvement opportunities.Â
• Contribute to succession planning and talent pipeline development for key roles.Â
• Establish HR KPIs and reporting frameworks to support data-driven decision-making.
6) HR Reporting & Documentation
• Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to generate regular and ad hoc reports for leadership.Â
• Prepare HR dashboards and management reports covering headcount, hiring, turnover,Â
overtime, attendance trends, and other workforce indicators.Â
• Ensure proper documentation of HR policies, employee records, compliance files, and HRÂ
operational procedures.Â
• Maintain audit-ready records and support internal and external reporting requirements.
7) General Affairs (as needed)
• Support general administrative and facility-related functions as needed, including coordinationÂ
of office operations and vendor management.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Â
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Manager or senior HRÂ
Generalist capacity
• Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, SAP or similar systems.Â
• Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws, HR compliance, and documentation standards.Â
• Demonstrated experience in HR data analysis, reporting, and workforce planning support.Â
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influenceÂ
stakeholders.Â
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.Â
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or trucking industry, particularly in environments involvingÂ
driver workforce management, dispatch operations, or multi-site operations.Â
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations, driver compliance, and safety-related HR processes.Â
• Experience supporting workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and manpower budgeting inÂ
operational environments (e.g., fleet-based or field workforce).Â
• Experience partnering with Operations, Safety, and Finance teams.
• Prior experience in high-growth or scaling organizations is a plus.Â
• Bilingual Korean/English is a plus, but not required.
Work Schedule and Location
• Primary work location is Duluth, GA.
• Standard business hours with occasional after-hours or weekend responsibilities during auditsÂ
or peak operations.
• Occasional travel to branch offices may be required.
