About this Position

Primerica's Investor Relations department is seeking an intern to support analysis of sell-side models and help identify variances to internal budgets. Based on the analysis, the intern will make recommendations to refine corporate guidance to improve analyst modeling accuracy. The intern will also assist in developing Al agent tools to expedite the review of peer intelligence. This role provides exposure to executive-level strategy, financial analysis and capital markets communications.

Salary range is $18–$22 per hour, depending on the student’s undergraduate level. Salary ranges for graduate students may vary.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Analyze sell-side models to understand revenue and expense drivers

  • Identify and document inconsistencies versus internal forecasts

  • Support development of recommendations to improve external guidance

  • Assist in building Al tools to synthesize earnings results and produce research-style summaries

  • Present findings and make recommendations to senior leaders

Minimum Requirements:

  • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a Major in Finance or Accounting. Journalism or Marketing degrees will be considered. Strong Excel and analytical skills are required.

  • Understanding of financial markets functioning and/or prior exposure to stock trading programs or investment clubs.

  • Prior experience in FP&A or financial modeling.

  • Familiarity with Al tools.
