We have an exciting opportunity for a Landscaping Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Requirements for our Landscaping Operations Manager – Design Build

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or related field preferred or 5 years of related experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in landscape installation. Experience in landscape project management or a similar role.
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • MN DOT Medical Card (Required)
  • Certification in Landscape Management or Construction (e.g., CLM, CLT, or similar) preferred.
  • OSHA Safety Certification or similar preferred
  • Experience with large scale projects including commercial, municipal, or large residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction, design/build, horticulture, and hardscaping techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Problem solving; ability to handle unexpected challenges such as budget overruns, delays due to weather, or supply chain issues while keeping the project on track.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ensuring quality control and precision in the work done by teams.

Primary Responsibilities for our Landscaping Operations Manager – Design Build

  • · Plan and oversee landscape projects from start to finish (site prep, hardscape, softscape, sod).
  • · Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, materials, and resources.
  • · Lead and supervise landscape crews; manage scheduling and daily production.
  • · Coordinate with designers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • · Order materials, arrange trucking, and manage equipment and site logistics.
  • · Monitor project budgets, labor hours, overtime, and material usage.
  • · Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • · Serve as primary client contact, providing updates and resolving issues promptly.
  • · Manage change orders and address on-site challenges proactively.
  • · Other duties as assigned.
