Overview
As an Operations A&E Specialist you will be at the forefront of innovation and design to create next generation avionics and electrical builds. Daily tasks will require the use of your related degree to maintain, modify, and create start to finish aircraft builds. Activities will include but are not limited to wire harness build, modification, and verification. Circuit card build and modification that will roll into aircraft communication systems and essential bus operations. This will also include high level software load and manipulation to debug issues and test functionality. All of these tasks will require the highest level of quality to ensure a long lasting and safe product.Responsibilities
- Use of hand tools such as side cutters and wire strippers for basic fabrication of simple wire harnesses.
- Understanding equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers for circuit testing.
- Provide feedback to Engineering on the parts/assemblies/installations.
- On aircraft and component level troubleshooting, pitot static calibration, and software load.
- Fabricate flight articles with minimal supervision.
- Fabrication of non-flight critical test articles and components.
- Work in a team environment to achieve a common goal.
- Proficient at several skills that are foundation level.
Qualifications
- 2-year related degree or military background and 1 year related experience
- Airframe & Power Plant license is preferred
- IPC - 620 training
- IPC - 610 training
- Ability to work in a group environment
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time

Pay Range
Salary Range: USD $24.07/Hr. - USD $36.10/Hr.Sign On Bonus
