Second Shift Cutter Helper

This position consists of three 12-hour consecutive shifts a week. The hours will be 4:00PM to 4:00 AM.

Job Description

+Load paper stacks onto the cutting table or rear-table feeding system.

+Align paper stacks (or strips) properly (jogging, aligning edges) so machine can cut correctly.

+Remove cut material from the table and stack/rack/cart it for the next process.

+Discard or sort waste trim and off-cuts.

+Assist the cutter operator in setup, machine support, and organizing cut output.

Education & Certification/Licensing Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing in a fast paced and occasionally high stress production company setting.
• Ability to work overtime during peak periods.
• Extensive lifting, reaching and bending actions.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Effective visual and hearing abilities, with or without aid, suitable for an office and production warehouse environment.
