Job Summary:
Assist the Facilities department with grounds and janitorial duties.
Job Duties:
- Grounds maintenance to include lawn mowing, weed whipping, garden work, sweeping, raking, and shovel snow
- Light vehicle maintenance including, but not limited to, washing, fueling, checking tire pressure, etc.
- Assist with College vehicle maintenance
- Empty trash and recycle containers and pick up trash throughout the college campus.
- Assist facility/staff as requested.
- Empty trash and recycle containers and pick up trash throughout the college campus.
- Operation of light equipment including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, gas trimmers, snowblowers, etc.
- Provide for the transportation of all vehicles requiring service to outside vendors as directed.
- Sweep, rake and shovel snow.
- Light vehicle maintenance including, but not limited to, washing, fueling, checking tire pressure, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Must qualify for federal work study
- Must be a current or incoming CSS student
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to shovel snow, rake or sweep.
- Current US driver’s license required.
- Must be able to perform heavy labor including but not limited to, lifting and moving tables, picking up shrubs, digging holes, etc.
- Special Instructions to Applicants:
- Must be a current or incoming CSS student
- Must qualify for Federal Work Study
- This job will include inside and outside work, in all kinds of weather
