Brady Corporation is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer for our Engraving Solutions business, which includes our MECCO and Gravotech brands. This individual will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in resolving complex production challenges and implementing solutions that enhance product quality and process reliability. This position also provides leadership and technical guidance to technicians and hourly associates, fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence, even without direct reporting lines.

Qualifications
  • Responsible for smooth product production, product qualification processes, and product & process FMEA analysis.
  • Designs, deploys and validates manufacturing processes and strategies in conjunction with new product development engineers.
  • Create, document and implement procedures for assembling, testing and packaging processes.
  • Ensures conformance with and application of policies and procedures. 
  • Create PPAP and FAI documents for customers.
  • Develops training systems and support documentation for associates.
  • Provide leadership in assigned areas including when working with key associates to promote participation and cooperation in process development/improvement initiatives.
  • Re-engineers operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Designs, installs and debugs tooling and new capital equipment.
  • Designs, evaluates and implements automated systems for inspection, manufacturing and data acquisition.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
