Job DetailsJob Location: Duncan, SC 29334Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Category: TransportationThe Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering materials to customers while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. This role supports transportation operations by inspecting equipment, securing cargo, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing professional customer service throughout the delivery process. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to operate equipment and handle materials in a fast-paced delivery environment. Start Time: 5am-7am (overtime as business requires). Starting Pay: $26-29/hr+ Monday - Friday. No weekends. Home every night. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and maintain mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance. Perform vehicle inspections before operation and secure cargo for safe transport. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures during transit and delivery activities. Operate tractor trailers to safely deliver materials to customer locations. Handle strapping, unstrapping, and rag side trailer functions during deliveries as required. Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment. Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT and company requirements. Obtain delivery receipts, customer signatures, and payments when required. Provide professional customer service and maintain positive customer interactions during deliveries.
