Job DetailsJob Location: Duncan Regional Hospital, Inc - Duncan, OK 73533Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: Day ShiftJob Category: Supply ChainJOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Receiving and Distribution Supervisor, the Technician stocks inventory items, delivers supply carts, fills requisitions, makes courier runs, and assist in general storeroom functions. RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Retrieve supplies and accurately fill large supply exchange carts with needed supplies per departmental procedure before end of each shift. Inventory supply levels in supply rooms, input data into computer, generate pick list, pull needed supplies, and stock next supply cart for delivery. Make courier run and deliver departmental paperwork per departmental procedure. Identify and remove outdated and contaminated supplies per departmental procedures. Drive to and from multiple locations to accurate stock supplies and transport lab samples. Ensure and maintain confidentiality, discretion, and caution when handling sensitive or confidential information. Attend and participate in meetings as needed. Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education opportunities including internal and external educational offerings. Utilization of assistive devices for lifting is mandatory. Must adhere to safety protocols at all times. Per DRH policy, all required conditions of employment must be met and maintained including required vaccinations. Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values. Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English. Basic computer skills including the ability to send/receive email, basic computer keyboarding to input information into a database or software, and navigate other information technology associated with the position. Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Effective organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to follow applicable regulations, policies and/or procedures, and to work independently. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: A current, valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.  Safety-Sensitive Position - This is a “Safety-Sensitive” Position as defined by Oklahoma law.  As such, please be advised that applicants for this position cannot test positive in pre-employment drug tests (or any drug tests administered after employment begins) for the presence of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive component of cannabis.  This is true even if the applicant is in possession of a valid medical marijuana card that otherwise allows the license-holder to legally use and consume medical marijuana.
