Pursue Relentless Improvement   About the Job CDS Logistics and Home Services is hiring a full-time Electrician to join our Electrical Business, which focuses on installation and preventative maintenance of in-home automated standby generators throughout the state of Maryland. CDS will provide this employee with a company vehicle, company cell phone, gas card and hands-on training. In addition to installing generators, you can anticipate performing residential electric work and serving our customers as an expert in your field.    Successful applicant will be able to: Perform quality work within deadlines.  Interact and communicate professionally with internal and external customer groups. Prioritize daily tasks in consideration of Organizational Strategic Goals. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating efforts with your stakeholders.   Essential Job Functions: Installation of automated standby generators. Preform preventative maintenance for automated standby generators. Complete Residential Electrical work Troubleshooting electrical systems Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures. Coordinate with office administrators to confirm daily schedule, communicate daily progress and challenges and complete paperwork daily.   QualificationsQualifications Must have a strong understanding of electrical concepts. Must have a valid Driver’s License (company vehicle will be provided) 3-5 Years of experience working in the electrical field.   Preferred Qualifications Holds a valid Electrical Journeyman's License for the state of MD. Experience working with generators Experience working with EV chargers   Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position also operates on the road and employees must be capable of operating a vehicle and or traveling by air.   Travel Frequent travel is expected for this position at an average of 50% on the road travel.   Work Environment This job operates in a home office environment and in the field on the road and at warehouse facilities throughout the Unites States. This role routinely uses office equipment such as computers, scanners, copiers, telephones, and occasionally uses warehouse equipment where trained and certified.
