Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Parts Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently pulling parts from inventory for assembly from manufacturing travelers, routing parts between departments, and managing the receipt of parts from the shipping and receiving department. This role is crucial for ensuring that parts are delivered to their final workstation in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
Pull parts from inventory based on assembly requirements.

Accurately track inventory levels and report discrepancies.

Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access.

  • Routing Parts:
Route parts between various departments until they reach their final workstation.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions of parts throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Receiving Parts:
Receive incoming parts from the shipping and receiving department.

Inspect received parts for quality and accuracy.

Properly route parts to their designated departments or place them into inventory.

  • Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of parts pulled, routed, and received.

Update inventory management systems as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management software.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials
